More than 400 students were named to Fort Lewis College's Dean's List for the Spring 2018 semester. These students took at least 15 credits of gradable hours and achieved a 3.60 or higher grade point average.

The University of Alabama awarded some 5,436 degrees during spring 2018 commencement May 4-6. Several local residents made the academic Deans' List at Azusa Pacific University. These students are honored for a spring 2018 grade-point average of 3.5 or better. They are joined by 1,760 students receiving the same honor.

Muhlenberg College celebrated its 170th Commencement on May 18, 2018. During the ceremony, which was held on the College Green, 511 students were awarded their undergraduate degrees.

Some 3,072 students were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont's 217th commencement ceremonies. Alexander Nemerov, alumnus and one of the nations' leading art historians and scholar of cultural history, delivered the address.

The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Concordia University, Nebraska awarded 194 undergraduate and graduate degrees following the fall semester in December 2017.

This fall, 25 students of Biola University's Fall 2017 class will be honored with membership into Epsilon Kappa Epsilon, Biola's honors baccalaureate society, at the Fall 2017 commencement ceremony. The honors society is exclusively offered by invitation only, by which students are selected by their departmental faculty.

Biola University named approximately 1,500 students to the university's Dean's List for academic excellence. Biola students are placed on the Dean's List to honor those with a grade point average of 3.60 or higher while enrolled in 12 or more credit units and whose cumulative grade point average is at least a 3.20.

High Achieving Students Choose Miami University

Ohio Wesleyan University held its 173rd commencement ceremony on May 13, 2017. The OWU Class of 2017 included 383 spring, summer, and fall graduates, with students representing 20 countries from Afghanistan to Venezuela. Chadron State College conferred 254 bachelor's degrees on graduates during commencement May 6 in the Chicoine Center. Dr. Megan Schuckman, a CSC alumna and a family medicine physician at the Chadron Medical Clinic, spoke at the event.
